In a social media post, Ryan Mandell, vice-president of strategy and market intelligence at Mitchell International, gave an inside peek into the Aviva Auto Centre in Mississauga, highlighting a facility designed around tightly controlled repair processes and workflow efficiency.

Mandell toured the site alongside Mitchell colleagues Karen Haughton and Norman Cheng, with the visit hosted by Peter Kalantzis and Jeff Labanovich. He described the centre as being “designed to drive quality at every step of the process,” pointing to a layout built to support consistent vehicle movement through each stage of repair.

The facility is part of Aviva Canada’s AutoCare Centre network, a series of insurer-aligned repair hubs that combine claims handling, vehicle repair and customer support in a single location. First launched in June 2023 with an inaugural site in North York, the network has since expanded to at least five locations across Ontario, including Mississauga, Oakville, Scarborough and Hamilton.

Operators carry out repairs while Aviva maintains oversight of the claims process, workflow standards and customer experience.

Mandell characterized the operation as a potential “game changing operation” for the Canadian collision repair industry.

In a reply to the post, Kalantzis thanked Mandell and his team for the visit, writing that it was “Great hosting you and the team."
