A leading Winnipeg bodyshop is joining an independent network.
Gateway Auto Body Ltd. has joined Certified Collision Group, adding one of Manitoba’s longest-running collision repair businesses to the North American network.
Certified Collision Group, based in Chicago, is a North American network for independently owned collision repair facilities in Canada and the United States. It offers affiliates access to purchasing scale, insurer relationships, vendor programs and operational support.
Gateway Auto Body is a third-generation collision repair facility founded in 1953 in Sundown, Man., before moving to Winnipeg in 1963. It remains a family business owned by the Kostynyk family.
Chad Melchert, Certified Collision Group’s affiliate services director for Canada, announced the move in a social media post.
“Welcome to the Kostynyk family and the entire team at Gateway Auto Body Ltd. (Winnipeg) to the Certified Collision Group,” Melchert wrote.
