A preferred OEM parts supply program has been established for Fix Auto, ProColor Collision and Collision Repair Experts facilities across Canada.

The program gives participating collision repair facilities access to OEM parts through Uniparts OEM Canada and Unipièce O.E.M.

According to the Aug. 13 announcement, Uniparts and Unipièce have relationships with more than 550 dealerships representing vehicle manufacturers across Canada.

Their services include helping collision repair facilities set up dealership accounts, communicate with dealers, resolve pricing issues and search for back-ordered parts.

“Reliable access to parts is a critical component of delivering timely, high-quality repairs,” said Steve Leal, president and CEO of Fix Network.

Claude Zalac, president of Unipièce O.E.M., said his team has spent 30 years building its OEM parts distribution network for collision repair facilities.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to Fix Network customers,” said Mike Kaplaniak, president and CEO of Uniparts O.E.M. Canada.

Fix Network has not yet provided details on whether participation will be optional for franchisees, when the program takes effect, how orders will be divided between Uniparts and Unipièce or what commercial terms will be available to participating shops.
