Lucas Humberstone has joined Certified Collision Group  as area business manager for Eastern Canada, moving to the independent bodyshop network after seven years managing key accounts for 3M’s automotive aftermarket division in Ontario.

Humberstone brings more than 10 years of experience in sales, account management and business development. His new role centres on strengthening account relationships and supporting CCG’s Canadian growth.

Founded in 2014, CCG provides independent collision repair operators with purchasing programs, business support and help developing insurer relationships. Member shops retain their own brands while accessing services through the wider network.

CCG’s procurement team works with more than 50 supplier partners. Other services include support with shop performance, operating procedures and direct repair program opportunities.

The network’s membership focuses on repairers with vehicle manufacturer certifications, a commitment to I-CAR training and established local businesses.

“I'm excited to join the CCG team and build on the relationships I've developed throughout my career in the collision repair industry,” Humberstone said in the appointment announcement.

“I look forward to working with independent shop owners and industry partners to help drive growth and deliver meaningful value to their businesses.”

CCG’s Canadian team also includes Tony McQuillan, vice-president of sales for Canada, and Chad Melchert, affiliate services director for Canada.
