Toronto, Ontario -- Fix Auto Canada supported the Matthew Salsa Foundation’s annual golf tournament, which raised $70,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada.

The funds will be used to support RMHC Canada programs that provide accommodations, meals and other services for families with children receiving medical treatment. These services are designed to help families remain close to hospitals during extended stays, reducing the financial pressure associated with travel and lodging.

RMHC Canada operates programs across the country focused on easing the logistical and financial challenges families face while a child is hospitalized. Access to housing, meals and on-site support allows caregivers to focus on medical care while maintaining proximity to their child.

The Matthew Salsa Foundation’s annual tournament serves as its primary fundraising initiative, with participation from industry partners contributing to the total raised each year. Proceeds from the most recent event were directed entirely to RMHC Canada in support of its national programming.

Through its involvement in the tournament, Fix Auto Canada contributed to funding services that support families during periods of medical care. The $70,000 donation will be distributed across RMHC Canada’s programs in line with organizational priorities.

Kristine Moshonas, associate vice-president of marketing and communications at Fix Network World, acknowledged the effort in a LinkedIn statement, writing, “Great job team!”
