Chilliwack, British Columbia -- Fix Auto Chilliwack is spreading holiday cheer through two separate initiatives this season. The shop is participating in The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which provides gifts to children and seniors in need. Through the program, donors purchase clothing, toys and other essentials to help families facing hardship enjoy the holidays.
In addition, the shop is taking part in its 22nd Annual Christmas Car Giveaway. Community members submit nominations explaining why a chosen recipient deserves a refurbished vehicle. Each year, Fix Auto Chilliwack refurbishes a car and donates it to a deserving individual, providing practical support that can have a meaningful impact on daily life.
“This initiative goes beyond holiday cheer,” said a representative at Fix Network World, in a statement to Collision Repair. “It’s about giving someone a chance to improve their life.”
Fix Auto Chilliwack has a history of community involvement. In past years, the shop has donated vehicles to families in need. Collision Repair magazine previously reported on the donation of a refurbished car to a single mother, highlighting how the initiative can offer significant assistance and opportunity to recipients.
