Toronto, Ontario -- Fix Network participated in Enterprise Mobility’s day of service at the Daily Bread Food Bank, joining industry partners and franchise community members to support food distribution efforts in Toronto.

The volunteer event brought together representatives from TD Insurance, Definity, Enterprise and Fix Network, including environmental, social and governance lead Mary de Guzman and associate vice-president of sales and operations Matthew Mauro. Volunteers packed 756 containers of granola, producing the equivalent of 3,024 meals. According to statistics from Daily Bread, one-in-10 Torontonians now rely on food banks.

De Guzman noted the role collaboration played throughout the day. “Participating in Enterprise Mobility’s day of service at the Daily Bread food bank was a meaningful experience,” she said. “The day was filled with teamwork and purpose as we came together to support a cause that directly impacts our community.”

She said the experience highlighted the scale of need in the community. “Food insecurity is real,” she said. “Seeing the collective effort to help families in need reminded me how powerful collaboration can be — not just within our industry, but across organizations working toward a common good.”

De Guzman added that the initiative aligned with broader community-support efforts. “For me, being part of this initiative was about more than volunteering; it was about living our values and contributing to something that makes a tangible difference.”

The event also provided an opportunity for participants to connect across partner groups while contributing to an immediate community need. As part of Giving Tuesday, donations to Daily Bread are being matched up to $60,000. Contributions can be made here.

“It was an incredible experience for the Fix Network team to join Enterprise Mobility and other valued partners at the Daily Bread Food Bank, working together to package meals for families in need,” said Mauro. “During the Holiday season, we’re reminded that family extends beyond our own homes. When we come together as a community, we help put life right for those who need it most.”
