Steven Soucy, owner of CARSTAR Rimouski, and the CARSTAR Rimouski team washed more than 55 vehicles in its car wash fundraiser in support of The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
The Kidney Foundation has been dedicated to eliminating the burden of kidney disease through research, education and the promotion of organ donation since its founding in 1964.
Raising funds for The Kidney Foundation and raising awareness of kidney disease is a cause that is personal to the shop. Both Soucy’s wife and a member of the Rimouski team’s family are affected by kidney disease.
“To see the community rally around a cause that touches their own team members’ lives made every single bucket of suds incredibly meaningful,” stated the shop’s LinkedIn post.
