On the Move: CCC appoints Josh Valdez

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. is appointing Josh Valdez as chief product officer, with the executive set to join the company on Feb. 16, 2026.

In the role, Valdez will lead CCC’s product strategy, design and delivery, with responsibility for scaling AI-driven technology and innovation across the company’s cloud platform. The goal is to accelerate value for customers operating within the property and casualty insurance economy.

Valdez brings experience building and scaling platform-based technology businesses, along with deep expertise in artificial intelligence, including agentic AI. His background includes designing solutions intended to improve collaboration between people and AI to enhance outcomes, efficiency and decision-making.

“The insurance and automotive industries are facing unprecedented complexity, which requires increasingly smarter and more connected solutions,” according to Githesh Ramamurthy, chairman and chief executive officer of CCC Intelligent Solutions. 

Prior to joining CCC, Valdez served as senior vice-president of products at Dayforce, where he led global product management with a focus on advancing AI-driven capabilities across the company’s human capital management platform. He previously held the role of vice-president of platform at Workday and joined the organization through its acquisition of Pattern, an intelligent workspace startup he co-founded. Earlier in his career, Valdez spent five years in senior product, technology and strategy roles at Google.
