Frank Phillips Jr. has started a new position as collision repair business area manager for the United States at Mirka USA.
Phillips was appointed chief executive officer of 4Plastic in April. His previous work includes positions with Rivian and Caliber Collision.
The move, announced by Phillips in a social media post, follows Mirka’s partnership with 4Plastic, announced in May. The plan covers plastic repair products, technician training and certification, and online repair guidance.
In September, Mirka introduced a plastic repair solution developed with 4Plastic. The range includes welding rods, repair jigs and other tools for work on damaged bumpers and similar parts.
