It was a veritable who's who of Canadian collision repair when WIN Canada gathered more than 100 professionals for a meet and greet event on Sept. 16 at the Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel.
"The energy and enthusiasm at our WIN Canada meetup was a wonderful reflection of the momentum we're seeing across the country," said co-chair Ritu Shannon (pictured), assistant vice-president of Enterprise Mobility's replacement and leisure division.
"Reaching more than 100 members is an exciting milestone, and it's inspiring to see so many talented professionals supporting one another and helping strengthen our industry. We're grateful to AIA and CCIF for providing the opportunity to bring our community together in Montreal and celebrate the achievements of women across the collision repair industry."
The registration list backed that up. Enterprise Mobility sent three: Shannon, colleague Laurence Pizzo, director of sales and business development, and Jennifer Everett, vice president of the replacement and leisure division.
CSN Collision sent two more, senior insurance services manager Kristina Pallas and field operations director Shannon Tardiff.
Among the others in attendance were Jennifer Jones, Canadian manager of OEC's certified collision program, Lise Laverock, regional manager at Lift Auto Group, Tifarah Senkow, vice-president of sales for Canada at Advantage Parts Solutions, and Renee Sicotte of Marion Auto Body and Glass in Winnipeg, a board member of the Motor Vehicle Industry of Manitoba and a 2025 recipient of WIN's Most Influential Women award.
The gathering capped what Shannon and co-chair Janette Tooley have called a "landmark year" for WIN Canada. The group crossed the 100-member mark this year after a deliberate membership push, and launched its first Canadian scholarship program, the Northern Star scholarship, handing out $7,500 to 10 collision repair students in May.
