
Craig Alvaro is returning to 3M Canada to become its business development manager for the automotive division.
This appointment marks brings Alvaro, who previously spent over seven years with the organization, back into the organization following a three-year departure during which he served as the business development manager at PPG Canada.
He first joined the company in 2016 as a sales representative, transitioned to activation marketing in 2019, and subsequently served as digital collision customer leader until early 2024.
Throughout his prior tenure, he was a key advocate for digital shop optimization, including the rollout of the 3M™ RepairStack™ Connected Body Shop platform.
In his new capacity as BDM, Alvaro will drive strategic commercial partnerships and market growth for 3M's automotive aftermarket division across Canada.
Alvaro’s diverse professional background prior to the collision repair sector includes serving as an In-field Marketing Technology Representative for Nike Golf Canada, working as an educator and university professor in Seoul, South Korea and operating Medora Muskoka Cuisine in Port Carling, Ontario.
