
Toronto, Ontario -- The Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance is reaching out to people working with advanced driver assistance software.
The AUSMASA people with an ADAS expertise to provide input on the development of training products by participating in an online survey. This feedback will be used to guide the development of products for the AUSMASA’s AUR Training Package.
The two-part survey is part of the AUSMASA’s larger project on the development of new training products for ADAS calibration. In the mining sector, ADAS is used in to enhance vehicle safety and operational efficiency. The AUSMASA represents both the automotive and mining industries and the survey data collected will help determine which training products will be endorsed by Skills Ministers.
Divided into four stages, the project’s first stage began in March 2025 and focused on developing a consultation strategy and establishing a Technical Advisory Group. The second stage is the consultation stage, starting in September 2025, when draft training products are released for government and public consultation.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. It closes on Friday, June 20, 2025.
