Toronto, Ontario -- Hunter Engineering is encouraging auto repair facilities using its WinAlign system to contact its representatives in order to complete a major software update for the system.
The company's latest software update includes extensive enhancements to the system's vehicle information database. The improvement adds specs for 708 new vehicle models and more than 2,454 updates to records on existing models.
Beyond expanding vehicle coverage, the update enriches several key software features. Among these, it provides improved VIN recall support, allowing users to access to manufacturer recall information based on vehicle identification numbers. It also improves the ADAS calibration procedures by expanding coverage to include calibration of new advanced driver-assistance systems.
The update also bolsters connectivity with the HunterNet customer portal, facilitating seamless integration with shop management systems and providing real-time access to alignment data and reports .
