Connected Calibrations: Repairify unveiling new service at SEMA

Asd

Toronto, Ontario -- Dallas-area remote diagnostic firm Repairify, which runs asTech, is unveiling its Connected Calibrations service at the 2025 SEMA Show, which is being held in Las Vegas from November 4 to 7.

According to various reports, the new asTech service will allow collision repairers to complete advanced driving assistance system calibrations remotely using OEM tools and guided by asTech’s network of certified remote technicians.

The announcement comes as the collision industry faces rising pressure to handle advanced safety systems in-house while keeping repairs compliant with manufacturer requirements.

Connected Calibrations builds on asTech’s established model of remote diagnostics, where patented devices link vehicles in repair shops to technicians working from a centralized hub. Instead of subletting vehicles to dealerships or mobile specialists, shops can use asTech’s device and complete calibrations under live guidance from certified technicians.

By extending that approach to calibrations, asTech aims to help shops that may lack the floor space, targets, or staff expertise needed to carry out increasingly complex ADAS work.

During the SEMA Show, the company will demonstrate how Connected Calibrations integrates with its all-in-oneplatform. The device, already in wide circulation, supports both OEM and OEM-compatible scans, module programming, code clearing and calibrations. A full diagnostic scan and repair plan can be produced in about five minutes.

Founded in 2009, asTech is one of the largest providers of remote diagnostics in the collision sector. It has a team of more than 300 remote diagnostic technicians with both ASE and I-CAR certifications. In 2021, asTech completed 12.4 million diagnostic scans, 938,000 electronic repairs and more than 185,000 calibration reports.

Parent company Repairify has positioned itself at the centre of this shift. Alongside asTech, the group owns brands including adasThink, BlueDriver, MobileTechRX, and Automotive Training Group.
