Toronto, Ontario -- Autel is expanding its Ultra S2 product line with two new diagnostic tablets -- the MS919 S2 and the MS909 S2.
The tablets feature an 11-inch anti-glare display, 2.7G 8-core processor, 256GB of storage, and run on Android 13. Both devices also support Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
According to Autel, the new platforms provide “enhanced diagnostic functionality, advanced hardware, and expanded vehicle coverage.” The company says the tablets offer bi-directional controls, adaptations, coding, and pre/post scan reporting across U.S., Asian, and European vehicle makes.
Autel says the MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 provide OEM-level access to late-model Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, VW/Audi, and Stellantis vehicles, though manufacturer accounts or tokens are required. Other highlighted features include enhanced data visualization, real-time split-screen oscilloscope functionality on the MS919 S2, and EV-specific test options.
The MS919 S2 is bundled with the company’s VCMI2 communication device, which incorporates a four-channel oscilloscope, J2534 pass-thru programmer, multimeter, waveform generator, CAN-Bus tester, and Remote Expert support. The MS909 S2 comes with Autel’s MaxiFlash VCI2, which also supports J2534 pass-thru capabilities.
Both tablets are ADAS calibration-ready, though additional software and frame system purchases are required for static and dynamic coverage. They also integrate with Autel’s Remote Expert capability.
The company highlighted new convenience tools, including a voice-activated “MAX” virtual assistant for hands-free navigation and AI-driven digital vehicle inspections with damage recognition, full-vehicle analysis, and integration with tire depth and TPMS tools.
“The expansion of the Ultra S2 Series with the MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 underscores Autel’s continued investment in delivering innovative diagnostic technologies to the professional aftermarket,” said Michael Flink, VP of Diagnostics at Autel.
The new diagnostic tablets are available now through Autel’s authorized distribution partners.
