Hamilton, Ontario -- CARSTAR's 2025 annual conference is being held in Toronto from August 20 to 22 at Westin Harbour Castle near the city’s waterfront.
This year’s theme, Rise, aims to capture the energy of the growing network and its resilience. According to the franchise, the three-day conference, which will involve learning, networking and celebration, will help to unify franchise partners, team members and industry leaders.
“Rise 2025 is more than a conference, it’s a celebration of our network’s strength, unity and forward momentum,” said Dave Foster, senior vice-president of operations and development at CARSTAR Canada. “As we gather in Toronto, we’re not just sharing best practices, we’re igniting a movement to push the boundaries of what’s possible in collision repair.”
In a press release, the banner said Toronto had been selected because it offered a perfect setting to elevate its shared vision, celebrate achievements and spark new ideas.
During the opening night, participants will visit the Hockey Hall of Fame for an action-packed conference kick-off which will be attended by several legendary National Hockey League players.
Attendees will be able to participate in the Slam Dunk Stroll, special charity walk through the heart of Toronto in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. According to CARSTAR, which is the official collision repair partner of the Toronto Raptors, the charitable endeavour will include several fun surprises.
In selecting its first keynote speaker, CARSTAR chose a figure who is both well known to the collision repair sector in Canada and well aquainted with the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector, Ryan Mandell, director of claims performance at Mitchell. His address will focus on emerging industry trends and discuss what it takes to build a shop of the future. A second keynote will be added to the agenda at a later date.
Guests will be able to attend several educational breakout sessions during the conference. These engaging seminars will present actionable information designed to equip the audience with new strategies and insights to take businesses to the next level.
Visitors will also be able to explore the latest innovations, products and services from CARSTAR’s valued partners during the vendor trade show. According to the banner, this interactive showcase will be prime opportunity to connect one on one, discover new technologies and strengthen business partnerships.
The conference will also feature a 1980s-themed CARSTAR Awards Gala that will allow guests to rock out in their best 1980s attire while they honour the outstanding achievements of franchise partners. The throwback celebration will be packed with energy and nostalgia and will provide well-deserved recognition to many of the people behind the franchise’s success.
