Toronto, Ontario -- Fix Network Canada’s 2025 NOVUS Celebrity Golf Tournament raised more than $200,000 for the Prince County Boys & Girls Club in Prince Edward Island.
The tournament took place at Mill River Resort from July 17 to 19 and featured 16 celebrity guests, including eight-time Canadian long drive national champion Lisa Longball and former National Hockey League players Darryl Sittler, Doug Gilmour, Larry Robinson, Noah Dobson and Wendell Clark.
Hailed as a “record-breaking success” by Fix Network in a social media post, the money from the fundraiser continues to support BGC Prince County’s four locations that provide programs for children and youth across P.E.I. “Thank you to everyone who participated, donated or contributed to making this event such a success. Your support helps create brighter futures for youth in the community,” stated the post.
The Club offers programs for children aged four through 12 focused on healthy living, education, physical activity and creative expression. In addition, the Club’s Youth Engagement Centre in Summerside provides social, recreational, creative and educational opportunities for youth aged 12 through 19.
LifeHouse is the Club’s newest addition, offering 24/7 services including transitional housing and emergency shelter for women and their children. The communal living environment is designed for short-term stays and staff help women secure employment and permanent, safe housing.
