Hamilton, Ontario -- A group of Fanshawe College students attended a special event to provide the next generation of collision repairers with hands-on industry experience.
Hosted at CARSTAR's headquarters, the day began with an engaging presentation that introduced students to CARSTAR Academy. Students were then taken on a walthrough of the full repair process, from initial inspection to the final vehicle delivery. The key-to-key tour highlighted the hard-work, technical precision and passion involved in every step.
In the afternoon, the event shifted into high gear with an interactive hands-on demo, led in collaboration with Collision 360, giving students a real-world taste of industry techniques and cutting edge tools used in the field.
“By giving students a real look at the rewarding, fast-paced world of collision repair, we’re not only opening doors—we’re helping them see a future they can get excited about," said Collin Welsh, senior director of the Ontario Region for CARSTAR Canada. "We’re proud to invest in the next generation of technicians, shop managers, and industry leaders.”
