
Nashville, Tennessee -- The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association will debut its first Innovation Showcase at the 16th annual CONNEX Conference, taking place Sept. 23–25 at the Hilton Nashville Green Hills in Nashville, Tenn.
This new showcase aims to spotlight cutting-edge technology and real-world applications transforming the collision repair industry. Under the theme Insights to Innovation: The Future of Collision Industry Technology, the event will bring together industry leaders, tech developers and repair professionals to explore emerging tools and solutions.
Bill Garoutte, an industry veteran, will emcee the presentations, which will include topics ranging from robotics in paint finishing to automated workflows and the challenges of ADAS.
Scheduled presentations include:
- Revolutionizing the OEM Paint Finishing Process with Robotics — Jason Scharton, global industry relations leader at 3M, known for optimizing paint materials and finishing workflows through robotics and data-driven strategies.

- Solving the ADAS Crisis: Transforming an Industry Pain Point — Joel Adcock, director of partnerships and business development at Revv, focused on bridging gaps in ADAS repair workflows.
- The Real ADAS Blindspot — When ADAS Fails — Stewart Peregrine, senior sales executive at Autel North America, specializing in helping shops bring ADAS calibration in-house with advanced tools and training.
- The Future of ADAS: Innovation, Market Shifts, and Regulatory Impact — Brian Herron, president at Opus IVS, with expertise in vehicle technology trends and industry regulation.
In addition to the showcase, the conference will feature speakers and panels on technology trends, business readiness and future-focused strategies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the Nissan Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant.
