The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association is hosting webinar on artificial intelligence in the collision repair sector on March 12, 2026.

The one-hour session, titled What You Haven’t Heard About AI in the Collision Industry, is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. PST, 1 p.m. CST and 2 p.m. EST. 

It will be delivered by Bill Brower, senior vice-president of North America claims and global industry relations at Solera Holdings (left), and Mark Fincher, vice-president of product management at CCC Intelligent Solutions (right).

The webinar will examine how artificial intelligence is being used operationally across the collision repair ecosystem, including in damage assessment, claims processing and customer experience tools. Organizers say the discussion will also address common misconceptions about AI and examine the role of industry data standards in enabling automated workflows across insurers, repair facilities and software providers.

Brower brings more than three decades of experience in the insurance property and casualty sector. Before joining Solera, he served as vice-president and head of U.S. auto claims strategy at LexisNexis Risk Solutions and previously held leadership roles in auto physical damage claims at Liberty Mutual Insurance. In 2011 he worked with Solera to develop one of the industry’s first photo-estimating applications, technology that later contributed to the company’s Qapter AI damage-analysis platform.

Fincher has spent roughly 30 years working with collision repair businesses and technology providers, including two decades at CCC. In his current role he oversees product integration strategy and the development roadmap for CCC’s automotive software suite used by insurers and repair facilities. His work focuses on connecting industry stakeholders through data and software tools that help manage vehicle damage assessment and repair operations.
