The Southeast Collision Conference is taking place between April 23–24 at the Embassy Suites Charlotte Concord Golf Resort & Spa in Concord, N.C.
Hosted by the Carolinas Collision Association in partnership with the Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association, the event centers around Collision P.R.E.P. — the Professional Repairer Education Program — which offers both managerial and technical learning tracks.
The conference opens Thursday morning with a keynote from Mike Anderson of Collision Advice. Organizers describe the session as a high-energy kickoff focused on the realities facing today’s repair facilities.
Throughout Thursday and Friday, attendees can choose from sessions tailored to shop owners, managers, estimators and technicians. Manager-focused topics include improving paint and material profitability, navigating OEM certification decisions and evaluating whether to bring wheel alignment and ADAS calibration services in-house. Technical sessions will cover corrosion protection, structural adhesives and hybrid joining operations.
A panel discussion moderated by Kris Griffin of Calibration Consulting Associates will explore how ADAS, glass repair, mechanical service and collision repair now intersect in modern vehicle restoration.
Friday’s program continues with sessions on AI-driven customer intake, environmental and safety compliance and insurer payment challenges. A peer-to-peer discussion featuring shop operators will address reimbursement pressures and documentation strategies in today’s marketplace.
The trade show runs Thursday afternoon and evening, then again Friday morning. The event also coincides with the Collision Industry Conference on April 22 and an open Society of Collision Repair Specialists board meeting on April 21.
