SATA Canada Inc. is appointing Les Pawlowski as its first national sales manager, expanding its Canadian sales leadership as the company looks to strengthen its presence in the refinish market.
Pawlowski assumed the role March 2. In the new position he will oversee national sales activities and work with distributors and customers across Canada.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, international trade and business development, with a focus on helping Canadian manufacturers expand into global markets, particularly in the automotive aftermarket sector. His work has included developing market-entry strategies, identifying new sales channels, generating leads and securing new business with international partners.
His background also includes managing export operations for manufacturers, covering logistics, trade compliance and product development aligned with international regulatory requirements. Pawlowski has worked closely with distributors and partners across global markets, building long-term commercial relationships while navigating changing trade rules and competitive aftermarket sectors.
SATA Canada said Pawlowski’s experience in international sales development and the automotive aftermarket will support the company’s efforts to strengthen its distributor network and expand sales across the Canadian market.
Joern Stoever will continue to serve as general manager of SATA Canada while also maintaining his role as global key account manager, the company said.

SATA manufactures spray equipment and related systems used in automotive refinishing and industrial coating applications. Its Canadian operations are based in Vaughan, Ont., where the company supports distributors and customers nationwide.
