Axalta Coating Systems has appointed veteran auto painter Danny Salinas as its account manager for its Pacific West region.
In his new role, Salinas will focus on strengthening existing partnerships and supporting continued growth across the region.
Born and raised in Calgary, the award-winning painter and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology graduate brings 31 years of experience in the automotive refinishing industry to the new role. Beyond cars, he has also turned his talents toward less conventional vehicles, including Team Canada's luge fleet.
In a social media post, Axalta's market sales manager for the Pacific Canada Region Nell Wheeler-Mislangs said Salinas is highly respected across the local industry for his "professionalism and collaborative approach."
She added that the Axalta team is "thrilled to welcome" him. "Danny brings deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and a genuine passion for the trade," she said. "His background makes him uniquely positioned to support our customers at the highest level."
