Toronto, Ontario -- The Fix Network is constructing a 2,400 square metre (24,000 sq ft) facility run entirely on renewable energy generated by an on-roof solar panel system.
Once completed, Fix Auto Basingstoke's new building will employ two electric spray booths operated exclusively with solar power and eight electric-vehicle charging bays to support the shift to EV ownership.
The new site is located within Kingsland Business Park, a major commercial hub just off the A33 highway, within close proximity to the M3 motorway. The location offers quick access for customers across Hampshire and strong logistical links for suppliers.
Construction is underway and the facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year.
Fix Auto U.K. is part of the global Fix Network World group, which brings together collision, glass and mechanical repair services across multiple brands.
The U.K. arm operates a franchise network of more than one hundred locations, each certified to the British Standard BS 10125 and together repairing more than 150,000 vehicles each year.
