Toronto, Ontario -- A major banner is building bridges with the auto insurance community in Canada.
CARSTAR recently participated in the 2025 Ottawa Insurance Brokers Association open house at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre, joining insurance professionals from across Eastern Ontario for an evening of industry insight, relationship building and community engagement.
During the event, owner Mike Mulder, manager Laura Trousdale and customer service representative Christine McManaman of CARSTAR Arnprior represented the banner alongside several managers from the CARSTAR Hunt Club.
The auto repair professionals engaged with insurance brokers to showcase CARSTAR’s dedication to service excellence and its strong, trusted partnerships within the collision repair industry.
“Our team was proud to stand alongside our insurance partners and fellow franchisees at this year’s OIBA Open House,” said Mulder. “Events like this give us a great opportunity to strengthen relationships with the broker community and reinforce how collaboration benefits our mutual customers.”
“This event is a fantastic example of the close ties between our network and the insurance industry,” said Collin Welsh, senior director, CARSTAR Canada. “We’re proud to support the OIBA and to continue working alongside insurance brokers to deliver trusted, high-quality repair solutions for drivers throughout Eastern Ontario.”
The OIBA represents more than 500 independent insurance brokers across Eastern Ontario, offering business resources, educational opportunities and networking connections.
The event also featured several educational presentations. Seminar topics included commercial risk management presented by Echelon, and protection for classic, collectible, and high valued cars presented by Hagerty.
