Toronto, Ontario -- Apollo Sprayers has received the Media Choice Award at SEMA 2025 for its new Maxi-Miser POWER-6 VS Auto, an electric HVLP system designed to eliminate the need for air compressors in automotive refinishing.

Presented by automotive media representatives, the award recognizes innovation and technical advancement in one of the trade show’s most competitive product categories. The manufacturer competed against some of the industry’s largest brands to secure the honour.

“To be recognized by the media as one of the most innovative products at SEMA is a huge accomplishment for our team,” said John Darroch, president and chief executive officer of Apollo Sprayers. “We’ve worked hard to bring a truly game-changing solution to market, and this award validates that effort in a big way.”

The Maxi-Miser POWER-6 VS Auto operates on a six-stage turbine powered by a standard 120V outlet, eliminating the need for traditional compressors, air dryers and filtration systems. The system offers more than 80 percent transfer efficiency and can reduce material usage by up to 40 percent. It includes more than 30 adjustable pressure settings to optimize atomization for different coatings, along with a remote start/stop function and Apollo’s QuadraClean filtration system to maintain performance and extend motor life.

The family-owned company has operated for nearly 60 years and continues to focus on alternatives to conventional spray equipment.
