Toronto, Ontario -- Sherwin-Williams, the automotive paint and coatings supplier for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, has launched a new three-part video series highlighting the innovation, performance and sustainability driving their ongoing partnership.

The series, filmed at the F1 team’s Brackley, England headquarters, offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the team prepares and paints its cars before every race using Sherwin-Williams’ Ultra 9K paint system.

Each episode — Proven Track Record, Prepping for Performance and Painted Perfection — explores a different aspect of the partnership. The first focuses on shared values of reliability and trust, while the second examines the Ultra 9K’s role in delivering durability, lightweight efficiency and aerodynamic smoothness. The final episode explains why the team paints rather than wraps its cars, emphasizing consistency, finish quality and sustainability through eco-friendly clearcoats and fewer required coats.
The Ultra 9K waterborne basecoat system includes 64 pigment-rich toners supported by high-performing undercoats and clearcoats.
