CamAuto Pro will host the PDR & GPR Competition in Montreal May 15–16, bringing together international dent repair technicians for a live, two-day event.
The competition will feature 10 paintless dent repair (PDR) technicians and four glue pull repair (GPR) specialists competing in judged challenges, with repairs completed in real time and evaluated on precision, efficiency and overall quality.
Confirmed competitors include Gene Fetty of the United States, Alexei Debelyi of Australia and Nazar Hnatiuk of Ukraine, reflecting the event’s international scope.
Competitors will work on damaged panels under controlled conditions, allowing for direct comparison of techniques and results. The format is designed to reflect practical repair scenarios while highlighting skill and consistency.
In addition to the competition, Kristen Felder will appear as a speaker and judge, with a session focused on negotiating with billpayers in the modern repair industry.
Organizers indicate the event will include live repair battles, exhibitor showcases and networking opportunities, alongside demonstrations of tools and technologies used in dent repair.
The event is expected to draw industry professionals from across the collision repair sector, with a focus on showcasing current techniques and fostering connections among technicians and suppliers.
