Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan -- Members of the Saskatchewan Association of Automotive Repairers are being invited to meet with the next generation of auto repair professionals.
A.E. Peacock Collegiate's automotive program is revving up for its Show and Shine event, which is set to take place on May 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at 145 Ross St. East.
The annual event was devised and spearheaded by Theran Bloudoff, an auto body instructor at the school. It provides a platform for students to show off their work to industry veterans and gain insights into the evolving world of automotive repair.
In a recent communication, SAAR executive director Tom Bissonnette emphasized the significance of industry support for the next generation of auto body professionals.
"Can we get a great turnout of SAAR members to support these young folks? said Bissonnette, who went on to encourage members to support the school's innovative autobody program with equipment or monetary donations.
"Such contributions not only enhance the educational experience but also underscore the industry's commitment to nurturing emerging talent."
