The season finale of Good Will Driving, episode seven, “The Final Bid,” is now available on YouTube.
The series follows Daryll O’Keefe, vice-president of strategic business development, North America, Fix Network and Mike Hall from Rust Valley Restorers, alongside strategic partners from LKQ, Axalta, Napa Auto Parts, Kent Automotive and 3M, as they restore a 1980’s Pontiac Firebird for charity.
Previously on Good Will Driving, O’Keefe and Nicky Woerner, vice-president of business development and partnerships USA, set out on an unforgettable journey, as the vehicle completed its remarkable trip from Milton, Ontario to Las Vegas, Nevada, along route 66, arriving at the world-renowned SEMA Show.
In the final episode, the Firebird reaches its conclusion when it arrives at the 2026 Fix Network National Conference at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta, where it was auctioned to a member of the Fix Network franchisee family, with 100% of the proceeds donated to Ronald McDonald House Canada.
“Completing Episode 7 of Fix Network’s Good Will Driving series marks an exciting milestone for us. This series has showcased the incredible talent, dedication and collaboration that exists across our network and we’re proud to bring these restoration stories to life for enthusiasts and industry professionals alike,” said O’Keefe. “We’re proud to share these stories, and we look forward to continuing to celebrate our industry through future projects.”
The conference featured an inspiring lineup of speakers, including Ayao Komatsu, team principal of the TGR HAAS F1 team, who shared insights on leadership and high-performance culture, Kanene Ayo Holder, AI strategist and director of EMPWRD.ai, who explored the transformative impact of artificial intelligence, and Sébastien Sasseville, renowned endurance athlete and motivational speaker, whose inspiring story highlighted resilience, determination and the importance of teamwork.
O’Keefe and Hall also participated in a fireside chat on the main stage, discussing the beginning of Good Will Driving and the transformation of the Firebird from restoration project to fundraising vehicle.
The next day, Leslie Henderson of RMHC reminded attendees of the cause at the heart of the initiative, sharing stories of the families and communities supported through RMHC programs.
Bidding for the Firebird began at $20,000 and sold for $120,000 to Corey Desrosiers, owner of Fix Auto Red Deer North. When interviewed by O’Keefe and Hall, Desrosiers said, “This has been such a great event, and the car is beautiful. The charity is worth every penny.”
RMHC is a charity close to Desrosiers’s heart, who told O’Keefe and Hall that he lost a family member to cancer, and that RMHC greatly helped his brother- and sister-in-law. “I’m proud to do it,” Desrosiers said.
Since 2016, Fix Network has raised more than $1 million in support of RMHC. Watch episode seven on the Fix Network Canada YouTube channel.
