CARSTAR Canada has held a training session for collision repair estimators from across the London, Ont., area.
The session took place at the Don-Mor CARSTAR Collision Community Engagement Centre, located at the Humane Society London & Middlesex’s Old Oak Animal Campus.
Estimators received classroom instruction and completed practical exercises. The training covered damage assessment, repair planning, estimate accuracy and communication with customers and insurers.
“Estimators play a critical role in every customer repair journey,” CARSTAR area manager Chris Massey said. “Their ability to properly assess damage, create accurate repair plans and communicate effectively with customers and insurance partners is essential to delivering a seamless repair experience.”
CARSTAR area manager Kevin Buckwald said regular training helps estimators keep up with changing repair requirements.
“Investing in ongoing estimator education helps ensure our teams remain confident, knowledgeable and prepared for the evolving demands of the industry,” he said.
The Don-Mor team also donated pet supplies to the Humane Society’s No Empty Bowls campaign. The campaign helps stock a pet food bank for local animals and families.
The team is also raising money for the Humane Society’s annual Tails on Trails event. The fundraiser supports animal shelter, medical care and adoption services.
