More than 300 technical and business courses will be offered at Worldpac’s STX 2026 Supplier & Training Expo in Maryland.

The Illinois-based automotive aftermarket parts distributor will hold the event from Aug. 19 to 23 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor. Training and supplier exhibits are scheduled from Aug. 20 to 22.

Courses will cover hybrid and electric vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems, diagnostics, manufacturer-specific repairs and shop management.

Several classes reached capacity more than a month before the event. These include courses on plug-in vehicle charging systems, electrical fault diagnosis and noise, vibration and harshness testing using PicoScope.

Courses covering performance-driving data, employee accountability and customer service operations also filled early.

“We saw immediate demand for our on-site training after launching registrations last month, with many courses filling to capacity quickly,” said Dominic Garcia, chief commercial officer at Worldpac.

Other high-demand subjects include battery engineering, inverters, converters and vehicle software. Introductory courses on Tesla vehicles and Tesla Toolbox software will also be offered.

Manufacturer-specific training will cover Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Subaru, Porsche, Audi, Toyota and Volkswagen vehicles.

Business courses will address gross profit, labour rates, accounting, artificial intelligence, service advising, communication and employee management.

Worldpac president and CEO John Hamilton will open the program with an update on the automotive aftermarket.

Former professional football player and broadcaster Terry Bradshaw will speak during the opening session on Aug. 20. His presentation will cover leadership, teamwork and working under pressure.

Former world champion triathlete Siri Lindley will speak at the Accelerate Women’s Lunch on Aug. 22.

The event will also include exhibits from more than 250 parts, tools and equipment suppliers.

STX 2026 is open to Worldpac and Autopart International customers. It will be the 10th edition of the biennial event.
