Jeff Pabst of Pfaff Automotive has claimed a trophy after recording two GT4 class wins during a Pirelli Grand Touring Sprints weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ont.
Pabst competed in a 1983 Audi Quattro that he converted from a street car into a vintage racecar. He developed the concept for the car and completed the body and paint work with expert assistance from his colleagues.
“I’m not a mechanic,” he said. “This was a massive learning experience for me.”
The weekend included practice, qualifying and three races. Pabst placed second in qualifying, finished second in the opening GT4 race and won the following two races.
“It was great,” Pabst said. “I went into the weekend knowing I’d be competitive, but hadn’t expected the victories. It was a good battle—and a lot of fun.”
Pabst originally prepared the Quattro for vintage racing. He won a championship with the car in 2024 before entering it in a different regional series in 2025.
