Simplicity Car Care has appointed collision industry veteran Sean Kell as director of strategic partnerships.
The Toronto-based collision repair network said Kell will work with insurers, vendors and franchisees as it continues expanding across Canada.
Kell brings more than 35 years of industry experience to the position. His background includes technical repair work, shop ownership and operational support for a multi-location collision repair network.
He holds Red Seal and Quebec second-class certifications in collision repair and automotive refinishing. He also holds a PPG Green Belt certification in Lean principles.
“Sean’s combination of hands-on operational experience, Lean expertise and national market experience makes him a strong fit for this role,” said Paul Prochilo, chief growth officer at Simplicity Car Care.
“Sean speaks the language of both the shop floor and the corporate boardroom, which will allow us to deepen our insurance integrations and continue improving performance across the network.”
Kell has worked in both English- and French-speaking markets. Simplicity said that experience will support its relationships with national partners operating across Canada.
