Shishir Tiwari has been named president of Global Finishing Solutions, a Wisconsin manufacturer of paint booths, curing systems and other finishing equipment used by collision repair facilities and industrial businesses.
Tiwari will oversee the company’s operations, service business, distributor relationships and long-term growth plans.
He most recently served as division vice-president at AMETEK, where he led an international business supplying instrumentation, control and vision systems. His responsibilities included teams and operations in North America, Europe and Asia.
Tiwari previously served as vice-president and general manager at Wabtec, where he was responsible for the company’s Shuttlewagon railcar-moving business.
Earlier roles included leadership positions at IDEX Corporation, GE Transportation and Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS Motor Company. His experience includes sales, engineering, manufacturing, service and business strategy.
Tiwari holds a master of business administration from Northwestern University, a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and engineering degrees from two Indian universities.
