CARSTAR TORCAM has promoted Nicola Munarolo to vice-president, creating a new senior role as the Hamilton-based operator expands its focus on standardized performance and operational oversight.
The move formalizes a shift toward more centralized management across the group’s locations, with Munarolo tasked with supporting shop managers, monitoring key performance indicators and tightening execution at the store level. The remit includes bi-weekly audits, weekly performance reviews and oversight of metrics such as touch time, length of rental, customer service scores and gross profit.
The role has been introduced as the organization grows and requires more structured support for frontline management. Ownership has framed the change around consistency and faster decision-making, with regular KPI visibility intended to allow quicker operational adjustments.
Munarolo joined the group in 2019 in a part-time marketing role and moved through estimating, office management and operations before becoming a managing partner at a Brantford location.
During that period, the role also included leading changes to intake processes using AI tools and helping transition the business away from paper-based systems toward real-time KPI tracking across locations.
The appointment adds another layer of executive oversight as multi-shop operators continue to formalize internal structures and place greater emphasis on measurable performance across expanding networks.
