Welcomes of the Week: NOVUS Glass opens first location in Fergus, Ontario

Fergus, Ontario – NOVUS Glass has announced the opening of its newest location in Fergus, Ont. Here, owners Ron and Caroline Brouwer, along with their daughter Jenna Smith aim to bring industry knowledge to their community.

As noted in a recent press release, the Brouwer family has over 20 years of experience running True Auto Care.

Ron Brouwer’s journey in the industry reportedly began during high school, working in his uncle’s shop and developing his skills in custom exhaust, brake and suspension work.

Similarly, Caroline Brouwer recognized early on the need for a reliable and skilled bookkeeper. Her customer service background ensures effective communication processes, says the press release.

Finally, Jenna Smith, initially from a developmental service background, joined the family business with no automotive experience. Jenna first joined as a business partner in 2024 and reportedly looks forward to maintaining and building on the values her parents first instilled.

“Our building's history as a glass shop is well-known, and we're excited to continue providing this to Centre Wellington,” said Jenna. “Partnering with NOVUS Glass allows us to offer more services, providing a one-stop shop where customers can see friendly faces for all their car needs.”
