Lac St-Charles, Quebec – ProColor Collision has announced that Sarah-Maude Giguére has taken over the leadership of ProColor Collision Lac St-Charles from her father.

As noted in a recent press release, Sarah-Maude’s journey in the automotive industry was first inspired by her father’s passion for the industry. He frequently brought Sarah-Maude and her sister to automotive events and reportedly taught them the importance of dedication and skill.

The Giguére family first acquired ProColor Lac St-Charles in 2001, and were among the first shops to choose the ProColor banner when it was first established.

“I’ve always loved learning, finding solutions and facing challenges,” Sarah-Maude commented in the release. “I’m officially in the right place. Every day, I wake up motivated and enthusiastic to work. I hope to pass this positive energy on to my team.”

ProColor Collision Lac St-Charles was also recently upgraded to allow for electric vehicle repair and the installation of the Car-O-Liner CRT9 spot welder.

“Put your fears aside, break down barriers and go for it—no one else will do it for you,” Giguére concluded when asked to comment on what it’s like to be a young woman in the industry.

“Sarah-Maude’s commitment to excellence, her fresh perspective are invaluable assets to our network,” said Jean Meunier, regional vice president. “Her leadership is paving the way for innovation and diversity in the automotive repair industry.”

Tune into the upcoming issue of Collision Quebec for more information.
