Max DiFelice, president of Waterdown Collision, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Flamborough Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Awards on April 9.
“I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award,” said Max DiFelice, president of Waterdown Collision. “It’s a reflection of the commitment our family has made to this community over generations.”
Waterdown Collision has received several community-focused awards through the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce over the years.
DiFelice's father -- company’s founder Domenic -- was a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. The business received the Community Service by a Company award in 2005, while Dante DiFelice, Max DiFelice’s son, received Community Service by an Individual honours in 2011 for fundraising and awareness work supporting cystic fibrosis initiatives. In 2018, the business also received the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce Award.
The recognition comes as Waterdown Collision prepares to open a new facility in summer 2026. The new purpose-built location, approximately 900 metres west of the current shop, will include updated repair technology and expanded operations.
“This award is not just about one person,” DiFelice added. “It represents our entire team — past and present — and the foundation that’s been built over the last 50 years.”
