CCC Intelligent Solutions Holdings Inc. reported higher revenue and returned to profitability in the first quarter of 2026 as the company reported growing adoption of its software and artificial intelligence tools.
The Chicago-based company reported revenue of US$281.3 million for the quarter ended March 31, up 12% from the same period last year. Net income was US$15.4 million compared with a loss of US$17.4 million a year earlier.
CCC Intelligent Solutions provides software used by insurers, collision repair shops, automakers and parts suppliers to manage claims and repair work.
“CCC delivered a strong start to 2026, with first quarter revenue growth of 12% and adjusted EBITDA margin expanding approximately 300 basis points year over year to 43%. These results reflect strong demand, disciplined execution, and increasing adoption of our core platform and AI-based solutions across our customer base,” said Githesh Ramamurthy (pictured), chairman and chief executive officer of CCC Intelligent Solutions Holdings Inc.
“As insurance claims grow more complex, our customers are relying on CCC to support high-consequence, mission-critical workflows with greater automation, intelligence, and consistency,” Ramamurthy continued. “AI is expanding the amount of economic work that can be managed through our platform, building on durable core relationships and deeply embedded workflows across the claims ecosystem.”
In the quarterly statement, CCC said it signed new multi-year agreements with major insurance companies during the quarter. One agreement expanded use of CCC’s core claims and AI products, while another will move a significant portion of an insurer’s casualty operations onto the CCC platform.
During the quarter, CCC completed a share repurchase program that bought back approximately 43 million shares. The company also repurchased another US$100 million worth of stock through open market purchases.
CCC ended the quarter with US$36.9 million in cash and US$1.288 billion in total debt.
For the second quarter of 2026, the company expects revenue between US$283 million and US$285 million. For the full year, CCC forecasts revenue between US$1.155 billion and US$1.163 billion.
