Toronto, Ontario — The Business Intelligence Group announced Tuesday that the estimation experts over at CCC Intelligent Solutions have been presented with not one, but two Artificial Intelligence (AI) Excellence Awards for its impressive use of the emerging technology.
CCC Estimate – STP, the company’s industry-first AI-powered estimating platform, took the top spot in the category of innovation for this year’s awards.
CCC’s platform uses advanced AI and insurer-driven rules to automatically initiate and populate detailed and actionable estimates for qualified repairable estimates in seconds, without the need for human intervention.
In the realm of organization, CCC’s NXT Lab innovation hub came out on top of the pile for its cohesion across multiple internal teams, including data science, R&D, engineering, support and design.

As its estimating system now prevails in about 50 percent of the U.S. market, notably among seven of the top ten American insurance carriers, Maria Jimenez, chief nominations officer for Business Intelligence Group, said that CCC was a clear choice for recognition this year.
