Calgary, Alberta -- On July 2, Technical Trainer Jeff Francis led an OEM procedures training session hosted at the Fix Network Training Centre in Calgary.
In a social media post, Fix Network said the training session is designed to “ensure that technicians are equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform collision repairs that meet manufacturer specifications — a critical component in ensuring vehicle safety, repair quality and customer satisfaction.”
Participants focused on electrical and safety system repair, documentation and warranty compliance, hands-on practice, structural repair procedures, understanding manufacturer guidelines and vehicle collision repair.
During the event, Francis discussed Fix Network Canada’s Manufacturer Repair Procedure and took participants through collision repair exercises.
Francis, the technical trainer for Western Canada at Fix Auto for the past three years, has had a long and successful career in the collision repair industry, including 20 years of experience as a Red Seal collision repair technician at Advance Collision, GT Collision + and 12 years of experience as an apprenticeship instructor at Okanagan College.
