In January, CARSTAR Canada's operations team conducted a series of in-person estimating training sessions aimed at newer collision repair estimators.
"We are proud to share that approximately 40 estimators have completed the training across four sessions, hosted in Ottawa, Lindsay, and two locations in the Hamilton area," franchise officials wrote in a social media post.
The three Essential Estimating training sessions were designed for estimators with less than a year of experience. The full-day sessions focused on estimating fundamentals, administrative accuracy and a live estimate review conducted with all attendees.
"A special thank you to Shawn Jamieson and the Myers Group, Sean Hartin and CARSTAR Lindsay, and Sebastian Torres and the TORCAM Group, for hosting these events," company officials wrote in the social media post.
