Diego Almeida of Australia has won the PDR & GPR Competition Canada 2026. Vladimir Polacek, from the Czech Republic, is the first runner-up, and Wei Wu from China is the winner of the GPR competition.
The PDR & GPR competition was held in Montreal from May 15-16, and brought together 11 competitors from several countries around the world. The GPR competition had four competitors: Gonzalo Farias (Chile), Gene Fetty (United States), Nazar Hnatiuk (Ukraine) and Wei Wu (China).
Almeida is the founder of CRAFT HAND PDR and has won first place in multiple competitions, including IASRE Germany 2025 and IASRE Japan 2024. Polacek is the founder of PDR Academy and won first place in the PDR EXPO USA Relay 2024, while Wu is the owner and CEO of DentFocus LLC and placed third in the 2025 MTE competition.
