Rodeo Round-Up: Simplicity Watford at Alvinston Pro Rodeo

Untitled Design (9)

Representatives from an Ontario collision centre moseyed their way down to the seventh annual Alvinston Pro Rodeo.

During the event, which ran June 12–14, several Simplicity Car Care Watford staffers supported the event and hosted a booth throughout the event, at the fairgrounds in Brooke-Alvinston.

"We're proud to have been part of an event that brings so much energy to the region," said Scott Ross, general manager, Simplicity Car Care Watford. "The Alvinston Pro Rodeo is a fantastic opportunity for us to meet our neighbours, celebrate the incredible talent coming through our community, and show what Simplicity Car Care stands for."

Spectators had a full weekend of professional rodeo competition, including bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, breakaway roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing, pole bending, junior steer riding, junior barrel racing and bull riding, along with rodeo clowns, bullfighters, live music, a beer garden, a cowboy breakfast, concessions and local vendors.

The Alvinston Pro Rodeo, presented by the Brooke-Alvinston Agricultural Society in partnership with Rawhide Rodeo Company, brings together more than 200 professional cowboys and cowgirls from the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA). Competitors travelled from across Canada, the United States, Brazil and Australia to take part.
