Toronto, Ontario — Jer Banta, a prominent figure in the auto parts industry with over three decades of experience, will headline the 2026 edition of the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association convention & trade show, which is to run from March 26-28, 2026 in Markham Ontario.
The widely regarded industry consultant with Profit Team Consulting began his career at Grand Central Auto Parts as a delivery driver. He swiftly ascended through the ranks, showcasing his talents in various roles such as salesperson, sales Manager and general manager at Greenleaf Auto Parts. He says his tenure with both privately held companies and the consolidator provided him with a holistic view of business operations, shaping him into the versatile leader.
In 2015, Jer embarked on a pivotal role at Bessler Auto Parts, spearheading the development of a new facility in Northeast Ohio. Under his guidance, the facility blossomed from a modest office to a full-fledged dismantling facility within a remarkable two-year period. According to the OARA, his adept leadership skills were pivotal in galvanizing the salesforce across all Bessler locations, setting the stage for the company’s acquisition by RTP in 2023.
In 2024, he joined Profit Team Consulting (PTC) in a new Coaching and Leadership Training role and has speaking engagements with organizations including the URG, the ARA and the ARA-NY.
