Toronto, Ontario -- Kirmac Collision and Autoglass has entered the Alberta market with the opening of a new collision repair facility inside Northgate GM in North Edmonton.
The launch marks the company’s first location outside British Columbia and a significant step in its national growth strategy.
The Northgate site will operate with the same customer service standards as its B.C. network, including proactive communication, secure vehicle handling and a lifetime guarantee on collision repairs. The move follows Kirmac’s May 2025 partnership with the Bannister Automotive Group, which positioned Northgate GM’s collision centre as a strategic choice for expansion.
Kirmac Collision & Autoglass was founded in 1973 in Coquitlam by brothers Ian and Ken McIntosh, who set out to raise industry standards for professionalism and repair quality. The company has since expanded into a network of collision and glass facilities across British Columbia, operating as a family-owned business with a focus on safety, customer service and community involvement.
“Since 1973, drivers across B.C. have trusted Kirmac with their vehicles,” said Sean McIntosh, president & chief executive officer. “We’re proud to bring our care, quality and community commitment to Edmonton, delivering a repair experience built on transparency, safety and respect for our customer’s time.”
The Edmonton facility is equipped for structural repairs, advanced diagnostics, advanced driver assistance system calibrations, windshield replacement and premium refinishing. All work is performed by certified technicians and follows manufacturer-approved repair procedures designed to restore vehicles to pre-accident safety standards.
Kirmac operates 27 locations across its three brands — Kirmac Collision and Autoglass, Reborn Autobody and Fleet Street Commercial.
