Essential Auto Calibration & Glass has opened its second location in Orléans, Ont., expanding its capacity to support collision repair facilities in the Ottawa region.
The new 5,000-square-foot facility can accommodate up to four vehicles at a time for calibration services.
Essential Auto offers ADAS calibration, windshield replacement, vehicle diagnostics and module programming. The Orléans facility also provides four-wheel alignments, dashcam installation and IGLA anti-theft device installation.
“Opening our second location is an exciting step for us. We want to make it easier for collision repair facilities to access the calibration and diagnostic services they need as vehicle technology continues to evolve. This new space allows us to serve more customers and continue building strong relationships with repairers across the Ottawa region,” said owner and operator Michael Frangione.
Designed to meet the needs of today’s increasingly complex vehicles, the facility features laser-levelled flooring, controlled lighting and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) software to support calibration procedures.
As more vehicles rely on cameras, radar sensors and other electronic systems, proper calibration has become an important part of returning vehicles to pre-accident condition. Windshield replacement and certain collision repairs can require additional calibration procedures to help ensure driver assistance systems function as intended.
The new location gives collision repair facilities in Ottawa’s east end another option for accessing these services, with calibration, glass replacement and diagnostics available under one roof.
The Orléans expansion marks another milestone for Essential Auto as it continues to grow and support repair facilities navigating the changing technology found in modern vehicles.
