ACX adds Mascarin Collision to its growing platform

ACX’s rooftops are on the rise again as they add Mascarin Collision in Thunder Bay, Ontario to their already robust stable of locations. With 65 years in the collision business, Mascarin is known for their unwavering commitment to quality, built over decades of serving Northwestern Ontario.

Founded in 1961 by Silvio Mascarin, the business was built on core pillars of integrity, passion, and quality. This family foundation cemented their status as a local institution and eventually the torch was passed to Gino Mascarin. Under his leadership, the facility continuously adapted, evolving from a traditional body shop into a modern, state-of-the-art collision repair centre capable of handling the speed at which our industry advances. 

The shop is environmentally conscious, having previously been acknowledged by Thunder Bay Hydro for significant facility retrofits like high-efficiency lighting and air systems. Their decades of experience has positioned Mascarin as Northwestern Ontario’s go-to experts for honest, safe, and transparent repairs, which aligns seamlessly to ACX’s approach to quality and service.

With this acquisition ACX inherits an impressive portfolio of OEM certifications. Mascarin is the only GM Certified Collision Centre in Northwestern Ontario, but their expertise doesn’t end there. They also hold certifications for domestic brands like Ford, and the Mopar suite, as well as Asian market leaders, including official Honda & Acura ProFirst Certified status, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Hyundai, and an elite Genesis Certified Collision repair designation. Their advanced capabilities extend to Euro brands like Volkswagen as well.

As the newest member of the ACX platform this offering can only get stronger. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for both brands, bringing together two organizations deeply rooted in the values of integrity, quality, and service excellence.
